Ocean City, MD – Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group and real estate developer High Street Residential, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, today held a ceremonial groundbreaking for "The Gateway Grand", a 16-story, 196-unit, oceanfront luxury condominium, at 48th and Coastal Highway in Ocean City, MD. City Council President and future interim mayor Rick Meehan, local officials and business leaders attended the ceremony. Construction for the development is underway and occupancy is scheduled for August 2008. Bovis Lend Lease is the general contractor.
