The Carlyle Group Sells InteliStaf Healthcare to Medical Staffing Network

New York – Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group today announced that it has sold portfolio company InteliStaf Healthcare to Medical Staffing Network, Inc. [NYSE: MRN]. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close during the second or third quarter of 2007. As a result of the sale, Medical Staffing Network will become the third largest company in the healthcare staffing industry and will strengthen its position in the per diem and travel nurse staffing sectors.
