The Carlyle Group Names Dorothy Lee Director of Asian Communications

Hong Kong - Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group today named Dorothy Lee Director of Asian Communications, a new position. From her base in Hong Kong, Ms. Lee will oversee all communications activities in the pan-Asian region, including Australia, China, India, Japan and Korea. She begins her duties immediately.

Dorothy brings great experience and insight to this new and important position. As Carlyle steps up its activities throughout Asia, we will rely on Dorothy to effectively communicate our varied and extensive investment activities to key stakeholders and the public throughout the region."


Ms. Lee comes to Carlyle with significant experience in the investment banking and financial services sectors. Most recently, Ms. Lee was Vice President and Head of Asian Media Relations at JPMorgan. Prior to that, she was Manager of Corporate Communications for Goldman Sachs in Asia and Senior Public Relations Consultant with Keith Statham and Associates, focusing on financial communications.


Ms. Lee earned her Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
