Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor is the Chief Technical Officer of Carlyle Aviation Partners. Mr. Taylor joined Carlyle Aviation Partners (formerly Apollo Aviation Group) in 2007. Mr. Taylor has over 35 years of aviation technical experience. Prior to Apollo Aviation, Mr. Taylor was Managing Director – Aviation for S.E.B. Corporation managing its fleets of corporate aircraft. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Taylor was employed at WestJet Airlines in Canada, last holding the position of Director of Technical Services and Purchasing. Mr. Taylor has also held positions at Turbowest Helicopters, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Canadian Airlines International. Mr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Technology Degree (BTech) from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and has a BTEC national diploma in Aeroscience (Mechanical) and is accredited by the Engineering Council of the UK as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng), as well as a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS) and Chartered Management Institute of UK (MCMI). Additionally, Mr. Taylor holds a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (AME) with multiple ratings.
