Anna Tye is a Principal in the Technology, Media and Telecom (“TMT”) group. She focuses on buyout and growth equity investments in larger companies including software, financial technology and payments, tech services, and information services businesses. Ms. Tye is based in Washington.
Since joining Carlyle in 2009, Ms. Tye has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investments in Workforce Logiq, ION, Dealogic, OpenLink Financial, Inc. (acquired by H&F), Open Solutions, Inc. (acquired by Fiserv), and CPU Technology, Inc. (acquired by Boeing).
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Tye was with Arcapita in Atlanta as well as with Copper Arch Capital and Morgan Stanley in New York where she focused on technology, media, and telecom companies.
Ms. Tye received an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, a B.S. in economics and a B.A. in Spanish from Duke University.
Ms. Tye is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Dealogic and Workforce Logiq and is a board observer at ION.
