Andrew Kapp is a Partner and Managing Director within Carlyle’s Infrastructure Group.
Before joining Carlyle in 2022, Mr. Kapp spent eight years at JPMorgan Asset Management, where he served as a Managing Director and an investment lead for the Infrastructure Investments Fund. Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Kapp sourced, led and sponsored significant new investments and was responsible for building, combining and optimizing platform companies within the portfolio.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Asset Management in 2014, Mr. Kapp spent seven years as an investor with ArcLight Capital Partners, focusing on investments in power, energy and related infrastructure, and five years with Citi in structured finance roles within Asset Finance and Infrastructure and Energy Finance.
Mr. Kapp received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University.
