Dayne Baird is a Principal with U.S. Buyout, focusing on buyouts, privatizations and strategic minority investments throughout the United States in the aerospace, defense and government services sectors. Mr. Baird is based in Washington, DC.
Since joining Carlyle in 2003, Mr. Baird has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investments in ARINC Incorporated, Booz Allen Hamilton, Landmark Aviation, and Wesco Aircraft Holdings.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Baird worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Global Industrial groups of Lehman Brothers, where he focused on transactions in the industrial, aerospace and defense sectors.
Mr. Baird received his M.B.A. from Georgetown University, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and received his B.S. in business management from Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Mr. Baird is a member of the Board of Directors of ARINC Incorporated and Wesco Aircraft Holdings.
