Elmer L. Doty is an Operating Executive supporting the Aerospace and Defense and Industrial Sectors.  He is based in Dallas, Texas.

Most recently he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Accudyne Industries, a global producer of high-pressure pumps and compressors.

Previously he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. a leading aerostructures company.

Prior to Vought, Mr. Doty was Executive Vice President of United Defense Industries (now BAE Systems), where he led a division that produced and supported the majority of the US military's combat vehicles.

MR. Doty has over forty years of leadership experience in heavy industry, with General Electric, FMC Corporation, United Defense, BAE Systems, Vought, and Accudyne.

He is a director of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cooper Institute, and a director of the Men of Nehemiah.

Mr. Doty earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri, and has received Executive Education at Harvard Business School and University of Chicago.
