NEW YORK - Global investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG) announced that it has named Ed Vilandrie, former Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Altman Vilandrie & Company (now Altman Solon), as an Operating Executive advisor for Carlyle’s Infrastructure Group. Vilandrie brings 25 years of experience in the digital infrastructure, telecommunications, media, and technology industries.

As an Operating Executive, Vilandrie will provide strategic guidance to Carlyle professionals throughout the investment process, from sourcing to acquisition, and advise portfolio company executives on management, operations and growth strategies. Joshua Pang, Head of Digital Infrastructure for Carlyle’s Infrastructure Group, said, “Ed has been a leader in advising management teams, businesses, and investors since founding Altman Vilandrie, and has played a major role in transforming the digital infrastructure industry over the decades. I am excited to have him join us at a time when sector momentum is strong. Vilandrie has advised many c-suite and senior TMT executives and investors within the digital infrastructure industry from a strategic, go-to-market, M&A, and business model perspective.
