The Carlyle Group to sell Vubiquity to Amdocs

London, UK – Global alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) today announced that it has agreed to sell Vubiquity to Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), a provider of premium content services and technology solutions to the media and communications industry. The transaction is expected to close by February 28th, 2018 subject to regulatory approval.

Vubiquity connects content owners and video providers to deliver entertainment to viewers on any screen. Based in Los Angeles, Vubiquity works with more than 600 film studios, television networks and independent producers, operates in 121 countries and 80 languages, and manages a 150,000+ asset library.

Carlyle invested in Vubiquity in May 2012 through Carlyle Europe Technology Partners II (CETP II) and Carlyle U.S. Growth Fund III (CGP III).
