Mr. Bond serves as a Senior Principal Adviser to the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Fund. He is based in London.

Mr. Bond runs investment management company Longspur Capital, a specialist investor in sustainable energy, power and environment related transactions requiring less than $50 million.  His sector expertise includes agriculture, alternative energy, waste recycling and bioenergy. Mr. Bond founded Longspur in 2017 together with Catalin Breaban and with the backing of AtlasInvest and GVO Asset Management – two large single family offices.

Prior to founding Longspur Capital, Mr. Bond was the CEO and founder of Temporis Wind, which focused on the development, construction, operation and management of UK-based feed-in tariff projects.  Over an 8-year period, Mr. Bond created the largest medium-scale wind turbine portfolio in the United Kingdom, which was sold to Tenaga Nasional Berhad.  Mr. Bond also led the equity investment of a further $275 million into hydro, solar PV, flexible generation and bioenergy projects during this period. 

Mr. Bond started his career in corporate finance for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in London before joining Gleacher & Co. in New York.  Mr. Bond has been registered with the FCA (previously the FSA) from 2009 to the present.  Mr. Bond is currently a member of the Board of Directors for multiple investee companies.

Mr. Bond earned his B.A. from Oxford University.
