Taylor Boswell is the Chief Investment Officer of Carlyle Direct Lending and a Partner in Global Credit based in New York. Mr. Boswell also serves as the President and member of the Board of Director’s for Carlyle’s externally managed business development companies. He has primary responsibility for Carlyle’s investment efforts in Direct Lending; including the management and oversight of origination, underwriting and portfolio management functions.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Boswell was employed by Apollo Global Management (""Apollo"") from 2013 to 2017 where he served as a Managing Director and Investment Committee Member in the Illiquid Credit Business. Before his time at Apollo, Mr. Boswell was a Director at Perella Weinberg Partners, where he spent seven years focused on special situations corporate investing. Earlier in his career, Mr. Boswell served as a private equity associate at Providence Equity Partners as well as a leverage finance investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank.
Mr. Boswell received a B.A. in political-economy from Princeton University.
