Gairy Hall

Gairy Hall is a Managing Director and Client Relationship Manager in the Global Private Equity segment focused on institutional investors in the Midwest and Southern United States. He is based in New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hall was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives leading business development and private fund distribution to institutional and wealth management clients across the United States and Latin America. Previous roles at J.P. Morgan included corporate strategy, emerging markets portfolio management, and sovereign credit based in the firm’s London office. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he worked as an investor at Citi Private Bank in the ultra-high net worth client segment.

Mr. Hall received a B.A. in Economics from Columbia College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School where he was a Feldberg Fellow and University Senator.

Mr. Hall currently serves on the Columbia College Alumni Association Board of Directors, is Vice Chair of Columbia’s alumni fundraising organization, and was a recipient of the Gerald Sherwin Young Alumni Service Award.
