Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering appoints AlpInvest Partners as Private Equity Program Manager

The Board of Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering has appointed AlpInvest Partners (AlpInvest) as its Private Equity Program Manager. The program has an expected size of € 500 million to be committed between 2014 and 2018 and focuses on investments in private equity funds globally.

"During the selection process AlpInvest was our preferred choice because of the customized solution they can provide for our private equity allocation and their solid historical returns," said Wouter Jan Naborn, Head of Asset Management at Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering. One of the key tasks of Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering is the fund’s asset management. Each month employees and employers jointly pay the pension contribution. Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering carefully invests and manages this money. One of the fund’s principles is that it only cooperates with the best asset managers in each asset class. The selection of AlpInvest as program manager for private equity investments fits into that policy.
