Mike Larsen

Mike Larsen is a Senior Advisor focused on mezzanine investment opportunities. He is based in Houston.

Mr. Larsen comes to Carlyle with more than 30 years of engineering and operations expertise in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, he was Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer for EP Energy. Prior to that, Mr. Larsen was Chief Technology Officer for White Marlin E&P. 

Mr. Larsen began his career with Amoco/BP and held positions of leadership and as a technical specialist in the United States and internationally.

Mr. Larsen has a BS in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University.
