Ellen Gonda is the Director of Communications for the Americas responsible for firm-wide communications initiatives in North and South America. She is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Gonda was a Director at the Brunswick Group where she focused on corporate and financial communications. She provided counsel to international companies experiencing crisis situations, particularly transactions and restructurings across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2000, Ms. Gonda held positions at Gavin Anderson & Company and Abernathy MacGregor Frank.
Ms. Gonda earned a B.A. with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
