Ben Moxham is a Vice President at Riverstone. He is based in London.
Prior to joining Riverstone, Mr. Moxham spent three years at BP plc. His first role there was global policy and external affairs lead for Innovene, BP’s $20bn-revenues petrochemical and refining subsidiary, which was subsequently sold to a private investor. Between early 2006 and leaving BP to join Riverstone, Mr. Moxham was global policy and regulatory affairs lead for BP Alternative Energy, comprising the company’s interests in solar, wind, gas power and carbon capture and storage.
Prior to joining BP, Mr. Moxham spent two years on a UK-US Fulbright scholarship in the United States, first at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Government Department, where he was also a Teaching Fellow in international relations, and subsequently at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, where he was one of four staff editors at Foreign Affairs magazine.
Mr. Moxham has an M.A. with first class honours in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University.
