Peter H. Nachtwey is a Managing Director and Carlyle's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Nachtwey has overall responsibility for the firm's investor reporting, internal controls and financial management. He is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Nachtwey was a partner at Deloitte & Touche serving in various leadership roles. Most recently, he was the firm's lead partner on one of the firm’s largest PEI clients and served as the Northeast Regional Managing Partner for the Investment Management industry. Prior to becoming a partner at Deloitte, Mr. Nachtwey spent two years overseas working for a U.S. defense contractor.
Mr. Nachtwey graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University.
