Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hancock was an analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, where he was a member of the Financial Sponsors Group. Prior to that, he spent a year in Morgan Stanley’s Financial Institutions Group in London and a summer working for the State Department’s U.S. Mission to the European Union.
Mr. Hancock graduated magna cum laude from Yale University, where he received his B.A. in history.
