Bader A. El-Jeaan is a Director in Carlyle's Middle East and North Africa (MENA) group, focused on buyout opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates). He is based in Dubai.
Since joining Carlyle in 2007, Mr. El-Jeaan has been involved in the execution of Carlyle’s investments in Medical Park Sağlik Hizmetleri A.Ş.
, General Lighting Company, and Alamar Foods Company.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. El-Jeaan was with Agility Logistics in Kuwait, Shearman & Sterling in New York and Abu Dhabi, and the Kuwait Investment Office in London.
Mr. El-Jeaan received an M. A. with honors from Oxford University and an A.B. with honors from Harvard University.
Mr. El-Jeaan is on the Board of Directors of General Lighting Company and Alamar Foods Company, and is also a Reserve Director on the Board of Directors of Kuwait’s Gulf Bank.
