Bader A. El-Jeaan is a Director in Carlyle's Middle East and North Africa (MENA) group, focused on buyout opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates). He is based in Dubai.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. El-Jeaan was a member of the Senior Management Board of Agility, a $5 billion company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market specializing in logistics and supply chain solutions, and was also a corporate attorney with Shearman & Sterling's Corporate Finance practice group.
Mr. El-Jeaan received an A.B. with honors from Harvard College, and an M.A. with honors from Oxford University. Mr. El-Jeaan is a Reserve Member on the Board of Directors of Gulf Bank K.S.C.
