Ralph F. Mittl is the Chief Compliance Officer responsible for the oversight and management of Carlyle's compliance function. He is based in Washington, DC.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Mittl was a Director in the Regulatory Compliance Group of Pricewaterhouse Coopers. 

Mr. Mittl received his M.S. from Clemson University.  He received a B.S. from Moravian College.
