Patrick T. Siewert is a Managing Director focused on investments in consumer-related businesses across Asia. He is based in Hong Kong.
Since joining Carlyle in April 2007, Mr. Siewert has worked on many notable transactions including the acquisition of the Eastern Broadcasting Company, investment in Guangdong Yashili Group, Natural Beauty Bio-Technology, CP Pokphand Co. Ltd., and a strategic investment with China Fishery Group. Mr. Siewert also supported Carlyle Europe Partners in the transaction with Moncler.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Siewert was Group President and Chief Operating Officer, Coca-Cola Asia since 2001 where he was responsible for the region (ex-Japan) and a member of The Coca-Cola Company Executive Committee. Previously, Mr. Siewert was President, Kodak Professional and Senior Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company where he held various positions in global operations as well as, Asia, Europe, Africa, and The Middle East.
Mr. Siewert’s awards include the United Nations Lifetime Achievement Award for International Photographic Council and he has been published by the Photographic Marketing Association, Future of Imaging, 1998 and One to a Billion, Marketing for Success in China, 2002 Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
Mr. Siewert currently sits on the board of directors of a variety of companies in which funds of Carlyle have investments, including, without limitation, C.P. Pokphand Company Limited, China Fishery Group Limited, Natural Beauty Bio-Tech Limited and Zhejiang Kaiyuan Hotel Management Co., Ltd. Mr. Siewert also sits on the board of directors of Avery Dennison Corporation and Computime International Limited. Mr. Siewert has also been the chairman of Eastern Broadcasting Company Limited since August 2008.
He received his masters of science in service management from The Rochester Institute of Technology and Bachelor’s of Science in business administration from Elmhurst College.
