Jaime Lara is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Latin America Real Estate team focused on real estate investments in Mexico and Latin America. He is based in Mexico City.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Lara was the head of the Latin American office of MetLife Real Estate Investments, based in Mexico City from April 2004 to February 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Lara worked with GE Capital Real Estate and J.P. Morgan in several equity and lending projects for more than 10 years.
Mr. Lara received his M.B.A. and a B.S. in industrial engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
