Eduardo Machado is a Managing Director and head of Carlyle’s Latin American Real Estate Fund. He is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Machado was a Managing Director of Fibra Realty S.A., the real estate company of the Vicunha Group. He has worked with real estate finance and investment banking in organizations such as Banco Pactual, Rio Bravo and Banco Ourinvest.
Mr. Machado has been a pioneer in the Brazilian real estate market; he was the founder and president of one of the first securitization companies in Brazil as well as structured one of the first REITs distributed in the country.
