Robert Coxon is a Senior Advisor to The Carlyle Group assisting Buyout teams in Europe, U.S., Middle East and Asia. He advises Carlyle in making and managing investments in the chemicals sector and is based in London.
Mr. Coxon is on the Board of Directors of AZ Electronic Materials, Stahl, PQ Corp., Ensus and Sinorgchem. He is Chairman of the UK Center for Process Innovation, an international research center in printable electronics, bio-processing and low carbon energy. He is Chairman of the NE Process Industry Cluster which represents over 400 companies in the sector. He is a non-executive Director of The Whitehall & Industry Group.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Coxon was Senior Vice President of ICI and Chief Executive Officer of Synetix, a world leading catalyst company.
