Sang Pil (Philip) Park is a Director with Asia Growth, focusing on growth capital investments in Korea. Mr. Park is based in Seoul.
Since joining Carlyle in 2003, Mr. Park has led investments in Epivalley Co., Ltd., TLi Inc., Flexcom Co., Ltd., Topia Education Inc., EO Technics Co., Ltd. and Uju Electronics Co., Ltd.; the investments in Epivalley was exited in 2007 through a trade sale, and the investments in TLi Inc. and Flexcom Co., Ltd. were exited during 2008-2010 through public market transactions.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Park was with ASEM Capital, a Seoul-based venture capital arm of the China Development Industrial Bank of Taiwan.
Mr. Park received an M.B.A. with distinction from the Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan.
Mr. Park is on the Board of Topia Education Inc. and was previously on the Board of Directors of Epivalley Co., Ltd., TLi Inc., Flexcom Co., Ltd., EO Technics Co., Ltd., and Uju Electronics Co., Ltd.
