Sameer Bhargava is a Principal focused on investments in the aerospace, defense, technology and business services sectors globally. He is integrally involved in several Carlyle investments including Vought Aircraft Industries, Wesco Aircraft Hardware, Kinder Morgan and Veyance Technologies, Inc. He is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Bhargava was at Bain Capital, LLC, a Boston-based private equity firm. While at Bain Capital, he worked on transactions with Datek, Island, Shoppers Drug Mart and SigmaKalon. Previously, he worked in the buyout fund at Advent International Corporation, a Boston-based private equity firm. Before Advent, Mr. Bhargava was at McKinsey & Company where he consulted on various strategic and operational issues for several Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Bhargava received his M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated from Harvard University with an honors degree in biology. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Wesco Aircraft Hardware and Veyance Technologies, Inc.
