Jiyuan Sun is a Managing Director and Head of China Government and Regulatory Affairs focused on government relations and management of public issues. He is based in Beijing.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Sun was Chief Representative of GE (USA) China Co., Beijing Representative Office and Vice President of GE China where he was responsible for government relations and policy issues. Before that, he worked for IBM China as Management of Government Affairs. Prior to that, Mr. Sun was Chinese Dean of China- European Management Institute (named CEBIS after 1995). He also worked for State Economic Commission responsible for executive training after graduation from University.
Mr. Sun received his B.A. in economics from Peking University and certification from the Business School of San Francisco State University.
