Charles R. Zyngier is a Principal with Investor Relations. He is based in São Paulo, Brazil.
Since joining Carlyle in July 2010, Mr. Zyngier has been actively involved with Carlyle’s capital raising efforts, assisting the region´s current investor and augmenting the existing LP base in Brazil. Working closely with the Carlyle South American Buyout Fund team, Mr. Zyngier set up the first existing strategic relationship in the region.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Zyngier was with The Citigroup Private Bank and Citigroup Alternative Investments in Miami and New York respectively.
He received an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago and a B.Sc., in mechanical engineering, from The University of São Paulo.
Mr. Zyngier held a Series 66 license from November 2000 to July 2010, a Series 63 license from October 2005 to July 2010, a Series 7 license from November 2005 to July 2010, and a Series 65 license from October 2009 to July 2010.
