Anna R. Tye is a Senior Associate in the Technology Buyout Group. She focuses on buyout and growth equity investments in larger companies including financial technology, software, software-enabled services, semiconductors, systems and related supply chain businesses.
Since joining Carlyle in 2009, Ms. Tye has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investments in OpenLink Financial, Inc., Open Solutions, Inc. and CPU Technology, Inc. Ms. Tye was also a member of the transaction team that executed Carlyle’s investment in OpenLink; the investment in OpenLink was exited in October 2011, when it was acquired by Hellman & Friedman.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Tye was with Arcapita in Atlanta as well as with Copper Arch Capital and Morgan Stanley in New York where she focused on technology, media, and telecom companies.
Ms. Tye received an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, a B.S. in economics and a B.A. in Spanish from Duke University.
