Leonard Tsomik is a Managing Director responsible for investor relations and fundraising. He is based in London.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Tsomik was the Head of Private Banking for Russia with JP Morgan in London, where he initiated Private Bank's coverage of the Russian market. During 2001-2004, Mr. Tsomik was with Uralsib Financial Corporation in Moscow, first as a Director of Corporate Finance and then as a Managing Director of Private Equity. Prior to that, Mr. Tsomik spent ten years in M&A, Corporate Finance and Private Equity working in New York and Moscow.
Mr. Tsomik received his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University and his undergraduate degree with honors (cum laude) in foreign service from Georgetown University.
