Wesley T. Bieligk is a Vice President with U.S. Buyout, focusing on buyouts, privatizations and strategic minority investments in the industrial and transportation sectors. Mr. Bieligk is based in Washington DC.
Since joining Carlyle in 2008, Mr. Bieligk has been actively involved with Carlyle's investments in Allison Transmission and the Hertz Corporation. Mr. Bieligk was also a member of the transaction team that formed Greater China Intermodal, an international shipping company formed in partnership with Carlyle Asia Buyout.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Bieligk was with Wachovia Capital Partners (currently known as Pamlico Capital) and McColl Partners, both in Charlotte, NC.
Mr. Bieligk received an M.B.A. with honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in commerce with distinction from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
Mr. Bieligk is on the Board of Directors of Greater China Intermodal.
