David Balint is a Director of Carlyle Asia Leveraged Finance where he leads the team’s focus on Australian and New Zealand Leveraged Finance opportunities. He is based in Sydney.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Balint spent 12 years in investment banking where he was most recently a senior Director of ANZ Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Sydney. Here he led teams sourcing, arranging and underwriting leveraged and acquisition financings supporting the financial sponsor community and Australian corporates. Prior to this role, David worked in the project finance field as an advisor and lender in Australia, U.K. and the Middle East.
Mr. Balint received his masters of finance and bachelors of business (economics and finance) with distintion from RMIT University.
