Alp Guler is a Senior Associate in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) group focused on buyout opportunities in Turkey. He is based in Istanbul.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Guler was an Investment Analyst at MKM Longboat where he concentrated on MKM's equity investments in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Guler worked in investment banking for six years at Lazard.
Mr. Guler received his M.B.A. with distinction from INSEAD. He received a B.S. magna cum laude with distinction from Yale University.
